In addition to the following documents, which describe the two methods to establish the authenticity of devices wishing to join a mesh network, this section also provides details on Bluetooth Mesh Security Best Practices.

• Bluetooth Mesh Remote Provisioning (PDF): Describes use of standard Mesh networking between a provisioner and a Remote Provisioning Server, so that the server can provision any device in the radio range of the network.

• Bluetooth Mesh Certificate-Based Provisioning: Certificate-Based Provisioning (CBP), as defined in Bluetooth Mesh protocol specification version 1.1, ensures that devices joining a Bluetooth Mesh network are authentic.
