Known Issues and Limitations#

• Devices: This release includes preliminary support for a wider range of devices beyond those currently supported in Simplicity Studio. These devices are not officially validated, and functionality may vary. Use at your own discretion.

• Security Settings Unavailable: Configuration options for Z-Wave security settings are not currently accessible in the interface.

• Windows BSOD with Older Adapter FW: A known issue can cause a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on Windows when using Simplicity Studio v6 or v5 with development boards running Adapter Firmware versions earlier than v2.0.0.

  • Recommendation: Update your development board to Adapter Firmware v2.0.0 or later, which is based on winUSB driver, to avoid this issue.
