Overview#

The Simplicity SDK includes Mbed TLS. Mbed TLS provides an implementation of the TLS and SSL protocols, and the PSA Crypto API specification to support the required cryptographic algorithms. The PSA Crypto API is the recommended API for performing cryptographic operations and secure key storage. Silicon Labs provides some vendor-specific extensions to the PSA Crypto API.

The Secure Engine (SE) Manager provides thread-safe APIs for the Secure Engine's mailbox interface.
