SBOM Generation#

The Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation tool is integrated into Simplicity Studio 6.
It can parse SLC projects to generate a project report that lists all components and their relationships for the Simplicity SDK.

An SBOM helps developers:

• Understand the software's composition

• Ensure that all components are accounted for

• Properly manage dependencies

SBOM generation is automatic and created in standard formats such as:

• CycloneDX

• SPDX

Generated SBOM files are placed under each project build directory, for example:
