Simplicity Studio Extension for VS Code#
At its core, the Simplicity Studio extension for VS Code enables building, flashing, and debugging from within the VS Code Ecosystem, while still allowing use of the project configuration GUIs that you know and love from within Simplicity Studio itself.
To enable the support mentioned above, a VS Code extension is required. It can be installed directly from within Visual Studio Code, or downloaded to disk in the marketplace. The preferred method of installation is to install it from the marketplace within the VS Code application itself.
Simplicity Studio will still be used to create the initial project and target it for Visual Studio Code. This will enable all editing, building, and debugging of the project should be done in VS Code.
