Overview#

The SiWx91x™ chipset family runs the HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client, and HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) client on its internal network processor, and provides the ability for the host processor to exchange data with HTTP/HTTPS servers.

The WiSeConnect™ SDK v3.x provides an Application Programming Interface (API) to access the HTTP/HTTPS features of the device.

The WiSeConnect™ SDK v3.x also provides an API to run the HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) Server on its host processor. This facilitates the exchange of data between the client and server, enabling applications to handle and respond to HTTP requests. Note that while HTTP and HTTPS are supported for client operations, only HTTP is supported for server operations.

The application runs on the host processor, leveraging the capabilities of the SiWx91x™ chipset family.
