Install Simplicity AI SDK on Linux#

Install and configure the Simplicity AI SDK on Linux for GitHub Copilot or Codex.

The Simplicity AI SDK is included with a standard Simplicity Studio® v6 installation. Download Simplicity Installer from the Simplicity Studio website, and then complete the verification steps for your integrated development environment (IDE).

Download and Run the Installer#

1. Install the required packages:

   sudo apt install libbz2-1.0=1.0.8-5.1
   sudo apt install bzip2sudo apt install libbz2-1.0=1.0.8-5.1
   sudo apt install bzip2

2. Download Simplicity Installer from the Simplicity Studio website.

3. In the file navigator, double-click the SimplicityInstaller executable from the archive.
