Services#
The adapter provides several services for evaluating and developing embedded applications. Some services are always enabled, while others can be activated or deactivated. Most services are accessible through the Admin Console. The adapter’s services fall into two categories: Target Services and Adapter Services. Target services require a connected target device; adapter services do not.
Data Channel 
The data channel (DCH), also known as the debug channel, collects data from various services running on the adapter and is available through TCP/IP port 4905. See Data Channel Details for more information about the DCH. The DCH provides access to the following data:
