Install Simplicity AI SDK on macOS#

Install and configure the Simplicity AI SDK on macOS for GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex.

Simplicity AI SDK is included with a standard Simplicity Studio® v6 installation. Download Simplicity Installer from the Simplicity Studio website, and then complete the verification steps for your integrated development environment (IDE).

For Cursor, install the Silicon Labs Visual Studio Code extension in Cursor and verify that the installer-generated MCP servers are enabled in Cursor Agent mode.

Download and Run the Installer#

1. Download Simplicity Installer from Simplicity Studio.

2. In Finder, double-click the downloaded .dmg file.

3. Drag the SimplicityInstaller icon to the Applications folder.

4. In Finder, open the Applications folder, and then double-click SimplicityInstaller.
