Create a New Project#

Create projects in Simplicity Studio, and include the Visual Studio Code project generator so the project can be used with the Simplicity Studio VS Code extension.

1. In Simplicity Studio, create a project using the Create Project workflow.

2. In the project configuration step, select the Visual Studio Code project generator.

3. Finish creating the project.

After the project is created, open VS Code and use the Silicon Labs view to import the Simplicity Studio workspace. Projects and solutions generated with the Visual Studio Code generator are displayed in the Workspace container.
