Uninstall Simplicity Studio#
Follow these instructions to remove Simplicity Studio or the Silicon Labs Tools installer command line interface (SLC-CLI).
Remove Simplicity Studio from Windows#
Note: Exit all applications using the Windows Task Manager before proceeding with the deletions, or some may be blocked as being in use. If you are unsure how to do this, reboot your system, but don't start Simplicity Studio, to ensure none of the tools are running.
To remove Simplicity Studio, Toolchain, SDK, and tools you have installed, delete c:\Users_user_name_.silabs.
To remove the Simplicity Installer, delete c:\Users_username_\AppData\Local\SimplicityInstaller.
To remove the temporary storage (cookies, etc.) for the Simplicity Installer, delete C:\Users_username_\AppData\Roaming\Simplicity Installer.
To remove the temporary storage (cookies, etc.) for the Simplicity Device Manager, delete C:\Users_username_\AppData\Roaming\Simplicity Device Manager.
To remove the Simplicity Studio workspace association with the Simplicity Studio installation that you used, delete c:\Users_username_\SimplicityStudio\v6_workspace_#, where # is the build number of the Simplicity Studio installation you had.
Delete the Simplicity Installer shortcut on your desktop, if present.
Delete the Simplicity Studio shortcut on your desktop, if present.
Remove Simplicity Studio from the Mac#
Delete {yourlocationto}/Simplicity Installer.app
Delete ~/.silabs
Delete /Users/{user}/Library/Application Support/Simplicity Installer
Remove Simplicity Studio from Linux#
Delete {yourlocationto}/Simplicity Installer-linux-x64.
Delete ~/.silabs.
