SEGGER Ozone#

SEGGER Ozone is a standalone graphical debugger and performance analyzer for Simplicity Studio® 6 projects. Use Ozone with a J-Link debug probe, including the onboard debugger on Silicon Labs development kits, to inspect and analyze embedded applications.

Ozone provides an alternative to debugging with the Simplicity Studio extension for Visual Studio Code.

Consider using Ozone if you want to:

• Debug different projects by using only the Executable and Linkable Format (ELF) binary (.out).

• View real-time operating system (RTOS) task information and sample data from a running target.

• Analyze call stacks, debug at the assembly level, use Real-Time Transfer (RTT) messaging and serial communication, inspect peripherals, and manage breakpoints.

• Script debug sessions for repeatable configurations or automated tests.
