It is recommended to use the latest SDK release for project development, as each release may contain critical bug fixes and newly added features. This document details the steps to upgrade a SiWG917 project, to the latest WiSeConnect SDK release. Note: Along with the project upgrade, the Connectivity Firmware in the device should also be upgraded to the latest version. Refer to the steps for upgrading connectivity firmware.
Steps To Do#
There are two ways to migrate an existing project from an older WiSeConnect SDK to the latest WiSeConnect SDK. Although we recommend the first method of migration, you are free to explore and select the method in which you are comfortable to adapt. Note: Before starting migration/upgradation, make sure you have a working project with older SDK version (in same or different workspace) for reference.
