Limitations#

The current PTA implementation has the following limitations:

• Heavy interference on Wi-Fi reception on the same channel might result in Wi-Fi disconnects as reception is not protected on Wi-Fi.

• If there are strict throughput requirements on both protocols, the mechanism is not sophisticated enough to guarantee that.

• PTA functionality does not work with WLAN power save enabled.

Note:

• To verify PTA functionality, ensure that the Zigbee device supports the required PTA Main signals: GRANT, REQUEST, and PRIORITY.

• Refer to the implementation details on the EFR32 side listed under References. Several configuration options are available, and selecting the appropriate one based on the use case will help achieve optimal performance.
