Functional Block Diagram#
The functional block diagram shows the connection between the SiWG917 SoC (configured as the PTA Main) and the EFR32MG21 device (configured as the PTA Secondary) for implementing the PTA 3-Wire Co-Existence mechanism. The key connections are illustrated in the following figure.


The diagram includes the following connections:
The SiWG917 (PTA Main) connects to the Windows PC through a micro-USB cable.
The access point connects to the PC via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
A female-to-female cable connects the REQUEST pin on the SiWG917 to the corresponding pin on the EFR32.
A female-to-female cable connects the PRIORITY pin on the SiWG917 to the corresponding pin on the EFR32.
A female-to-female cable connects the GRANT pin on the SiWG917 to the corresponding pin on the EFR32.
The EFR32MG21 Zigbee Z3Light device (PTA Secondary) connects to the PC using a micro-USB cable.
The EFR32MG21 Zigbee Z3Switch device (PTA Secondary) connects to the PC using a micro-USB cable.
