Use Case Scenario#

The current implementation of PTA is suitable for the following scenarios:

• Low Wi-Fi usage and low throughput requirements

  • This use case allows occasional Wi-Fi disconnections. However, test results show no disconnections unless the frequency of REQUEST and PRIORITY signals increases significantly. All three PTA configurations are suitable for this scenario.

• Moderate traffic on EFR32 devices with specific Wi-Fi throughput needs

  • When BT Classic, BLE, Zigbee, or Thread protocols are active on the EFR32 devices, and moderate Wi-Fi throughput is required, Configuration 3 is recommended.

• Moderate traffic on both EFR32 (i.e., BT Classic/BLE, Zigbee, THREAD) and Wi-Fi.
